About Me
My Background
My dream is to become an Special Education teacher so I can help make a difference in peoples lives. I grew up with two bothers and one sister. My eldest brother, Trey, was born mentally challenged. He was missing a portion of his brain so his cognitive levels were not where they should have been. My older sister, Misti, was born with severe cerebral palsy. She was never able to walk or talk. I got the opportunity to volunteer with Special Olympics and I absolutely loved it. Seeing their faces light up when they would win medal or even participated touched my heart, that is when I knew this was what I was meant to do.

Growing up with my brother and sister this way was a blessing for me because it made me grounded but it was also tough to see and to know that they would never lead normal lives. My sister recently passed away in May of this year and it was extremely hard on me. I made a promise to myself that day that I would Love each and and strive to be the best and make an impact on the people I come into contact with.

I created this painting to reflect the two things I love, traveling and painting.
This piece has impacted my life personally because it gave me a sense of freedom and joy while doing the actually painting. After seeing the outcome it gave me a sense of pride because I think it is a great piece of art.

A Lifetime of Creations
After hard work and dedicating 168 hours of hands on experience and learning, I received my X-Ray Technician licenses issued by the Texas Medical Board. I never thought that I would be in a field where I get to challenge myself and learn new techniques everyday. Learning is an exciting and rewarding expierence.

I graduated with an Associates and received a Paralegal Degree. I was one of four that graduated with honors in this particular program. I was able to work full tie and go to school while maintaining good grades. I hold this particular achievement closer to me than the other two. This was my first degree that I received and I absolutely loved working in the legal field. I worked hard to achieve this goal. So, for me this means a lot.
